In Reception we celebrated Jewish New Year.

A popular tradition on Rosh Hashanah is eating apples dipped in honey, followed by a prayer. Ancient Jews believed apples had healing properties, it is also a symbolic fruit often mentioned in the Bible. The honey signifies hope for a ‘sweet’ new year.In
