On Thursday 15th June 2017 the choir took part in their fifth Salford Sing.
The Salford Sing 2017
On Thursday 15th June we went to the Salford Sing. We had loads of fun.
First, we got on the minibus and Mrs Harltey drove us to the Lighthouse. We were all excited on the ride!
When we arrived we found our seats and it all started straight away. There were four instructors and they made us laugh loads. They taught us lots new things and songs. We sang new and different songs - Bungalow, Bonmen in Space, Pick a Bale of Cotton are just a few. We learned African Call which was lead by a child called Peter, who was chosen on the day. We all sang songs that we had been learning in choir at school: Get on Board Lil' Children, Rather be, I'm Going to be Your Friend and One and a Million.
In the evening our parents took us back to the Lighthouse where lots of other parents and familes came to watch all of the different schools. We performed on stage as well as other choirs.
Angel and Miss Jones joined in Bungalow - it was funny. During the evening performance. Angel's mum got up and joined in that song too.
It was a long day, but we had lots of fun!
